I'm Deanne Perko, Area Manager and Independent Consultant with Arbonne. My journey with this amazing company began 3 years ago. You may be able to identify with my story...I was not looking for a career in skin care, much less Network Marketing!! When I was introduced to this business, I was looking to add income to our family but not put my children into the daycare system.  I wanted more than anything to be home to raise our 2 small boys, but also wanted a career and to contribute to our income. I had worked in the corporate world for many years prior to kids and had an incredible income from Agilent Technologies, but would work 50 to 60 hours a week.  I did not want to go back to the corporate world and give up time with my boys.  I wanted TIME FREEDOM.

In order for me to be more available for my family, and contribute to the household financially I had no other option than to be an entrepreneur. Here were my options:Starting the journey begins by taking a first step.....

1. Become a Business Owner  - but had no experience in this area.
2. Buy a Franchise - Very expensive and we didn't have that kind of cash flow!
3. Start a Business in Network Marketing - Low start up cost and can build this along your current career! PERFECT!!

What does it take to become successful in Arbonne?
•You need to work the business CONSISTENTLY. You can work it part-time, but not sometime. This consistent time is necessary whether the goal is to create $300, $3,000 or $30,000 per month!
How can I do this when I work, have children, a husband and a household of responsibilities??
•    I build my business in the “Nooks and Crannies”
•    If have 5-10 minutes I make calls.
•    In the car on my way to pick up the kids, I make calls.
•    While the kids are in the bath, I am on the phone.
•    While cooking dinner, I am on the phone.
•    If you add these all up in your day, you could build a very successful business!!

• Lastly, you need to GIVE IT ENOUGH TIME!! This is not a get rich quick!!!  You are in college with Arbonne International! You won’t get there overnight! Are you willing to put in 4 years of consistent effort to earn a 6 figure income? What if it takes you 6? How about 10 years???The only way this business won’t work for you is if you QUIT!!!!  You must log the hours!  Amateur pilots are differentiated from seasoned pilots by the hours logged, not by the years involved! It does not matter if you are a brand new consultant or a consultant of 5 years. You are where you are by the amount of hours logged (activity, skin care classes). Put in the time and give it time!! Be patient!!
